VAT audit

VAT Audit

The firm assists its clients in securing all their activities with regard to VAT. The aim of a tax audit is to ensure that tax obligations and rules are respected and correctly applied by companies. This audit will help to secure the tax aspects of the companies' activities in order to limit the risks in the event of a tax audit.

In this context, the firm audits the company in order to understand and analyse its operations, check internal VAT procedures, study the consequences of any past tax audits to ensure that any omissions raised have been corrected, etc.

At the end of this first audit phase, the attorney presents its complete diagnosis to the company's management in the form of a detailed report. This report will include all the observations made during the first observation phase as well as the potential risks incurred by the company in terms of VAT and related taxes.

Once the diagnosis has been made, the lawyer will propose an action plan to ensure that errors and omissions are corrected so that the company limits the risks in the event of a tax audit.

Furthermore, if errors and omissions are found, and the company wishes to correct them in anticipation of a possible tax audit, the lawyer will be able to assist the company in setting up the various procedures in place to regularise the errors and omissions, and thus limit the risks of a tax audit in the future.
